Sidney, Illinois is a small village located in Illinois’ Champaign County. As of 2010, the population was approaching 1,300. Sidney is located approximately 13 miles southeast of the Champaign-Urbana area, 95 miles east of Springfield, and 115 miles west of Indianapolis.
