Spurlock Museum is located on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The museum focuses on three areas: anthropology, visual materials, and world cultures. Many of the items in their collection are on display at any given time, allowing students and visitors to see some new artifacts daily. There are also multiple rotating exhibits. When one finishes its run, a new one usually starts soon after.

Entering the museum through the gift shop, you’ll find yourself downstairs with both permanent and rotating exhibits. There’s a small room to your left which contains an introduction to the museum and information about what you’ll see upstairs. You can access both by climbing the stairs or taking the elevator.

Visitors are led through multiple rooms, each with a different theme, before reaching the main area of the museum. At this point, it’s best to walk slowly and take in all there is to see on both sides.
